We are looking for a Finance Assistant; someone who is a builder who will jump at the chance to use creative and innovative thinking to help build an exceptional product.

  • Are you self-driven and passionate about working with cross-functional teams?

Skills and Requirements

  • Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to take ownership of work, find solutions to issues and ensure timely completion of duties
  • Tactful, discrete, and maintains confidentiality
  • High school degree or equivalent

Your Day-to-Day

  • Transferring financial data from computer files or database systems
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Maintain financial policies throughout the company
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Keep track of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Filing important documents, such as reports, meeting notes, emails, and letters
  • Planning and organizing events that take place externally, such as fundraisers, sporting tournaments, and appreciation events
  • Keeping important information and documents organized physically, and electronically
  • Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
